Executive Summary
The Director of Research and Accountability, on behalf of the Superintendent of Schools, hereby requests the Board to approve the purchase of the eduCLIMBER platform from Renaissance Learning, Inc. eduCLIMBER is an interactive student data system that integrates all data points into one platform in order to evaluate and monitor data at the student, school, and district level. This system should increase student achievement and wellbeing by evaluating and monitoring the effectiveness of both Tier 1 practices and Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions. eduCLIMBER will replace the district's current data analysis system, PowerSchool with an annual savings of $25,016.08.
The year one subtotal of $186,950.00 reflects the onboarding and professional development for the 2022-23 school year and the total cost for the 2023-24 school year.
Summary:
2022-2023 School Year: $41,750.00
2023-2024 School Year: $145,200.00
