Executive Summary

The Director of Elementary Programs and K-12 ELA, on behalf of the Superintendent of Schools, hereby requests the Board to approve the purchase of AICE Cambridge International Exams for the 2024-2025 School Year. The mission of Cambridge Education Program is to support excellence and learning in schools and in professional development. They work in partnership with us at Hernando, nature Coast Technical, Springstead, and Weeki Wachee High Schools to deliver the best education possible to our learners. The enrollment and demand for these rigorous and stimulating courses has grown quickly.

If the agenda item includes the purchase of goods or services, the funds requested are an anticipated amount and may fluctuate depending on such factors as current market conditions, product availability, additional funding sources, and the needs of the District.  Should the actual cost exceed the anticipated amount, the Board approves the additional cost, after review by the superintendent, but not in excess of the funds available in the site’s approved annual budget.
