Executive Summary

The Director of Maintenance, Brian Still, on behalf of the Superintendent of Schools, hereby requests the Board approve the piggybacking of OMNIA Partners, Racine County IFB #RC2022-1001, contract #3341, HVAC Products, Installation, Labor Based Solutions and Related Products and Services, awarded to Trane US, Inc. and authorize the purchase of goods and services for an estimated annual amount of $8,000,000.00.

 

This piggyback contract award will be utilized by both Facilities Maintenance and Facilities Construction for both direct purchase of products and installation using ESSER III and capital funding projects.

 

HCSB Bid #23-910-36 PB has been assigned for internal tracking purposes.

If expenditure is not currently budgeted, this will serve as the budget amendment when Board approved. If the agenda item includes the purchase of goods or services, the funds requested are an anticipated amount and may fluctuate depending on such factors as current market conditions, product availability, additional funding sources, and the needs of the District.  Should the actual cost exceed the anticipated amount, the Board approves the additional cost, after review by the superintendent, but not in excess of the funds available in the site’s approved annual budget.
