Executive Summary
The Director of Safe Schools, on behalf of the Superintendent of Schools, hereby requests the Board approve the Renewal of Bid No. 22-450-12 RA RN, Architectural and Access Control Hardware, awarded to multiple vendors, who had participated in a reverse auction. This bid established a contract with supplier(s) to provide and deliver Architectural and Access Control Hardware to the Office of Safe Schools Department as needed and to secure firm discounts off manufacturer's list prices, for the contract period specified. All product pricing (list price minus discount) shall be firm, net pricing and shall include ALL freight and handling charges. The contract is awarded by individual item(s) to a primary and secondary vendor (where available) meeting all terms, conditions and specifications outlined in the bid document and who will serve the best interest of the district.
This contract is also available for use by other district sites/departments for projects when necessary, utilizing their already approved annual budgets.
