Executive Summary

The Director of Food and Nutrition Services, on behalf of the Superintendent of Schools, hereby requests the Board approval for out of state travel. This approval will allow Lori Drenth to attend the AMTAB K-12 Symposium in Bensenville IL, April 5-7, 2023. This meeting will offer expertise advice on how to transform cafeterias into a more inviting food court, which will include award-winning signage, graphics, décor and furniture designs. Also included, will be a factory tour, a session on menu design and planning. The cost of this trip is $0, due to NxtGen Network paying all travel expense which includes airfare and hotel room, food and beverages.  NxtGen Network is a creative marketing agency with a passion for elevating K-12 food service.
