Executive Summary
The Supervisor of College and Career Programs, on behalf of the Superintendent of Schools, hereby requests the Board to approve the piggyback of The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS), Region 8 Education Service Center (ESC), RFP/Contract No. 230105: Technology Solutions, Products, and Services, awarded to zSpace, Inc. and authorize the purchase of goods and services for an estimated annual spending of $225,000.00.

The zSpace platform provides immersive learning technology that combines augmented reality, virtual reality, and interactive digital content to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences for students. These resources will enhance instruction by allowing students to explore complex technical concepts, practice real-world applications, and develop skills aligned to industry expectations and emerging workforce demands.

The integration of zSpace technology will support the district's efforts to expand innovative instructional practices, strengthen Career and Technical Education pathways, and prepare students for post-secondary opportunities, industry certifications, and high-demand careers in technology-related fields.

Purchases will support the continued development and enhancement of workforce-aligned Career and Technical Education programs.

Funding for this purchase is provided through the Workforce Development Capitalization Incentive Grant Program (Workforce CAP), specifically awarded to support the Artificial Intelligence Program at Springstead High School, the Advanced IT Program at Nature Coast Technical High School, and the Cybersecurity Program at Hernando High School.
