Executive Summary
The Director of Adult and Technical Education, on behalf of the Superintendent of Schools, hereby requests the Board approve the agreement between ABC Institute Apprenticeship College, Inc. To re-establish an apprenticeship program partnership and establish how funding will be divided.
The apprenticeship program provides opportunities with hands-on training, industry-recognized credentials, and real-world experience in high-demand skilled trades. Through this program, apprentices develop valuable technical skills while earning income as they learn. By combining practical experience with career-focused education, the program creates a direct pathway to long-term employment opportunities within the construction industry.
Funding for this initiative is provided through funds generated by full-time equivalent students enrolled in the apprenticeship program. No General Fund dollars will be used for this initiative.
