body

Executive Summary

The Director of Student Services, on behalf of the Superintendent of Schools, hereby presents the Antibullying Awareness Video for IMPACT Clubs. The videos were required to address the issue of bullying and the importance of creating inclusive and safe environments for all. The theme was, “It begins with you!”

The winning video will be featured on the district website as well as school websites and presented at a school board meeting for recognition.

Video should contribute to raising awareness about bullying and cyberbullying and

creating a safe environment for all students. By promoting awareness, students,

teachers, and communities can better recognize the signs of bullying, intervene early,

and provide support to those affected. It also empowers bystanders to become

upstanders, encouraging them to take action when they witness bullying, whether in

person or online.

Financial Impact

The cost of this agenda item is $ 0. See attached budget sheet.

If expenditure is not currently budgeted, this will serve as the budget amendment when Board approved. If the agenda item includes the purchase of goods or services, the funds requested are an anticipated amount and may fluctuate depending on such factors as current market conditions, product availability, additional funding sources, and the needs of the District. Should the actual cost exceed the anticipated amount, the Board approves the additional cost, after review by the superintendent, but not in excess of the funds available in the site’s approved annual budget.
