Executive Summary

Lisa Cropley Executive Director of Student Support Programs, on behalf of the Superintendent of Schools, hereby requests the board to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of educators within our district who have successfully completed the Master of Education in Educational Leadership program at St. Leo University. This program was made possible using millage funds to support scholarships for our employees to further their education and professional aspirations. These graduates have demonstrated exceptional commitment to advancing their professional skills, deepening their understanding of effective school leadership, and preparing to take on roles that directly support improved student outcomes.

St. Leo University’s Educational Leadership program provides rigorous coursework and practical leadership experiences aligned with Florida’s Principal Leadership Standards. Graduates emerge with enhanced abilities in instructional leadership, school operations, data-driven decision-making, and fostering collaborative school cultures. Their dedication to completing this advanced degree reflects not only personal and professional growth but also a strong commitment to serving the students, families, and staff of our district.

By recognizing these graduates, the School Board affirms the district’s support for ongoing professional learning and leadership development. These educators represent a vital pipeline of future school and district leaders whose skills and preparation will contribute to strengthening our schools and ensuring high levels of student success.
