Executive Summary
The Supervisor of Professional Development, on behalf of the Superintendent of Schools, hereby requests the Board to approve the renewal for the annual subscription services to Nearpod Learning Labs. Nearpod is a sole source provider.
Learning Labs are interactive, research-based professional learning workshops designed to support PLC’s, grade level teams, content area teachers and small group breakout sessions. Topics include social-emotional learning, unpacking standards, and balanced literacy. These sessions are used to provide professional development to instructional personnel. This license agreement is an increase from the previous fiscal year because the new agreement covers through the end of the 2023 fiscal year.
