Executive Summary
The Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning and the Supervisor of Elementary and ELA K-12 Programs, on behalf of the Superintendent of Schools, hereby requests the Board to approve the purchase of instructional materials for high school intensive reading classes from Achieve3000. The Hernando County School District will receive access to data generation and reporting for progress monitoring, lexile leveled texts for differentiated instruction, FSA Test Prep and text for curriculum development through June 2022 (paid yearly for three years with the ability to cancel each year if not satisfied). The request is pursuant to F.S. 1008.22 requiring successful performance on statewide, standardized assessments. Achieve3000 is a sole source provider.
The Board reviewed the presentation and information regarding the purchase of Achieve3000 at the June 11, 2019 Workshop (Agenda Item # 3786). The Board approved the agreement and purchase of Achieve3000 at the July 30, 2019 Regular Board Meeting (Agenda Item # 3832). This will be the final purchase of the three-year agreement.
